ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ officially ushered in a new era for its campus community on Saturday, breaking ground on the highly anticipated Carey Center — a transformative 97,250-square-foot athletics facility that will serve as the new cornerstone of ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½â€™s Division I athletics program.

ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ hosted its annual Arts, Creativity, and Innovation Weekend, a celebration of the creative process and imaginative thinking across all disciplines.

Preliminary construction has officially begun on the Carey Center, a transformative 97,250-square-foot athletics facility that will serve as the new cornerstone of ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½â€™s Division I athletics program.

ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ recently welcomed music producer, DJ, and multimedia storyteller Bobby Carter as its 2026 Clifford Family Innovator in Residence.

His visit will provide the ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ community with insights into the intersection of digital media, storytelling, and the music industry.

Tracee Ellis Ross, the award-winning actress, producer, founder, and CEO, will join the ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ community for a keynote Q&A during ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½â€™s annual Arts, Creativity, and Innovation Weekend.

The elective designation, awarded by the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation, recognizing the University’s continuing commitment to community engagement and partnerships.

As of Dec. 31, 2025, ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ has raised more than $5.9 million for the ÌÇÐÄVlog´«Ã½ Fund. This milestone places the University more than halfway toward its $10.4 million goal for the 2026 fiscal year.
